Maternity sessions can be done indoor in my studio (good for two people), or outdoors year-round.
Generally speaking, most people do their maternity session between 34-38 weeks, depending on comfort level. It’s important to consider physical comfort and mobility, as well as your confidence with your changing body. This varies from each person, so there really is no set time that works best for everyone. I recommend after 32-34 weeks to ensure a big enough belly, but not too close to 40 weeks incase your little bundle decides to arrive early.
If you are booking a maternity session and are also interested in a newborn session and/or milestone package, it is important to book early to ensure a spot is available for the time frame that you are due. It is NOT recommended to wait until after baby is born to inquire as spots are often booked up months in advance. Most clients book a newborn session when they book maternity photos.

What to wear? I email a maternity session guide to each client when they book with tips and suggestions for the session, including clothing. I also have a variety of beautiful things in the studio for client use such as gowns, fabrics, tops, scarves, etc. Ask to see my studio prop inventory, I’ll send it your way!VIEW PRICING
